Parent Involvement:
As your child’s first teacher, the educator acknowledges that no-one has a greater understanding of your child’s abilities, interests and needs than you do. With this in mind, we value your involvement in our service. However, we recognize that parents lead busy lives and at times participation may be difficult. Therefore, parents are encouraged to participate in the service at the level at which they feel most comfortable. Parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s care in a variety of ways, such as, Children’s Programs, Social Events, Fundraising and Networking.
We work in partnership will all parents bu engaging them in the care and education of their child as high level decision makers.
Parent/Teacher Meetings
Parent/Teacher interviews are arranged once a year. This allows you to meet with your child’s teachers to discuss your child’s progress.
Newsletters
A newsletter is sent to parents (via email) once a month. This newsletter provides parents with important information about service events. If you have any items of interest that you would like to contribute, please let us know.
Family and Social Events
Throughout the year, you and your family will be invited to attend social events at the Centre. These may range from informal afternoon teas with your child to family events and celebrations. These events provide you with the opportunity to meet your child’s friends and teachers in a happy and relaxed atmosphere.
